The Rope-a-dope DIY
I hated my old white lamp.
Nothing wrong with it. I was just bored. So I decided to let George Foreman pummel me until he was so exhausted that he bought me a new lamp.
Actually, I realized that an old vase that I rarely use could easily fit my old lamp inside. I have been looking for something more masculine, and thought of nautical rope.

Curb Your Coffeemate Habit
This exact thing happened to me last night at the grocery store! All I needed was Coffeemate but a couple was loudly arguing right in front of the glass door. I tried to go behind them which only made them madder. (See video above.)

Petah Coyne, You're On My List
I can think of so many cultural experiences I am grateful for seeing: Marian Seldes perform Beckett’s Not I, Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl, Brian Dennehy’s Willy Loman, Elliott Smith at the Double Door, and surely seeing Joan Didion next week will be monumental. But with every list of greats, comes a list of great regrets- all these things I’ve missed and never forgotten....
