Getting back to what actually works.
Where I hide in Jackie Treehorn’s house and am never heard from again…
Love on two wheels- caught this biker in Silver Lake riding off with flowers in his backpack.
What if I hadn’t looked up?
While I’m geeking out on Miranda July I thought I’d show off my big claim to fame- a photo in an art magazine after attending the opening of her show Eleven Heavy Things. The friend I’m hugging said, “look, it’s me, you, Miranda July, and someone we don’t know.”
Another friend sent the clipping saying only, “Couldn’t you have worn pants?” Lesson learned: don’t leave the house with out pants because you never know when you will be photographed from a low angle on a pedestal and published in a magazine. WTF!
When Miranda July procrastinates on her screenplay the result is a fascinating account of a disparate group of Angelenos whose sole commonality is not using computers. A book, people! I procrastinated in writing this post and all I’m left with is half a jar less of peanut butter and a newly color-blocked bookshelf, which actually is kind of nice.
